U.S. attorney: Hutaree member shot cat to prepare for attack | detnews.com | The Detroit News

Oh Please! Aren’t Assistant U.S. Attorney Ronald Waterstreet and you (Paul Egan and Mike Wilkinson of the Detroit News) spreading the BS on a bit thick?!

Besides the silliness about the cat, and the picture of the eevviill shotgun shell (whose ownership was not specified – it could have been one of the FBI’s), the quote with which you attempt to scare people:

""The people should not be afraid of the government; the government should be afraid of the people," Stone said in the speech"

Is a paraphrase of this quote:

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. " by Thomas Jefferson

I hope I am correct is assuming you know that Thomas Jefferson wrote the American Declaration of Independence, was a contributing author of the U.S. Constitution, and was also the third President of the United States.

He also stated: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Are you going to join in the Obama campaign to demonize his opponents by demonizing Jefferson, too?

The idiotic verbiage of Waterstreet and your blind repetition of his attempt to demonize Obama’s opponents is the same kind of nonsense that Goebbels (the Reich Minister of Propaganda in Nazi Germany) used to support the violent actions of the Nazi government against its opponents.

You might want to actually, critically investigate and evaluate the pronouncements from Obama’s minions before you just blindly repeat them. Isn’t that what a reporter is supposed to do? Or are you just another mouthpiece for government propaganda?
